We have produced a tooth brushing programme where the children brush their teeth daily at school. The children are taught the correct method of toothbrushing through repetitive simple instructions. The staff are trained in delivering the programme and maintaining good cross infection control.

We monitor the toothbrushing on a regular basis as well as giving talks on the different aspects of oral care with emphasis on tooth friendly food, drink and eating habits. Older children have great fun looking at the amount of plaque on their teeth during our disclosing sessions.
