✓ Brush x2 minutes, every morning and evening using a small amount of fluoride toothpaste about the size of a pea.
✓ Supervise your child toothbrushing until age eight.
✓ Encourage your child to spit, as opposed to rinsing the toothpaste away.
✓ Register your child with a dentist by age one.
Limit food and drinks containing sugar to mealtimes only and be aware of high sugars in fruit juices, smoothies and dried fruit. Water and milk are safe.
